Now, I realize that the next innovation in our series on the features and benefits of Comfort Furnace technology might not sound that sexy to the ear…but it will feel good on your skin! I’m talking about the Comfort Furnace’s stainless steel diffusion coil.
The heat produced by the quartz infrared heating elements needs to be diffused in order to deliver the highest quality warmth possible. That’s the task of a diffusion coil. But if your infrared heater has diffusion coils that are made from sub-par materials — or are designed poorly — then the effectiveness of the unit will suffer greatly. And that lowered effectiveness is substantial!
For instance, when we tested the stainless steel diffusion coils used by the Comfort Furnace and compared the dispersion of heat with other brands…the results were stunning. The Comfort Furnace was a full 25% more effective in dispersing infrared heat. The reason: the use of stainless steel coupled with a superior design.
The competition doesn’t use stainless steel diffusion coils. Only the Comfort Furnace and Heat-A-Lot utilizes stainless steel diffusion coils. Uglier still, some of the competitions’ models don’t even have diffusion coils. Unbelievable!

In this latest exploration into the technology of the Comfort Furnace Infrared Heater, we’re going to cover one of the most surprising benefits and features of them all. Namely, that the Comfort Furnace UV models are not only infrared heaters…but also air purifiers!
The Comfort Furnace UV employs Philips Ultraviolet Bulbs, which purify the air which passes through the unit. And when we say purifies, we’re talking about the nasty stuff: bacteria, mold, mildew, viruses and other airborne contaminants. These pathogens are stripped from the air which wafts out of the Comfort Furnace, meaning your family stays warm and healthy.
The Heat-A-Lot and Comfort Furnace XL also strip the air of harmful pathogens, but do so by sanitizing the air you breathe.

This post is the third in our series about the technology features of the Comfort Furnace. Today we will highlight the advantages and benefits of a portable heating solution that utilizes quartz infrared heating technology.
Effectiveness, durability, safety, and energy efficiency are but a few of the qualities associated with quartz infrared heating systems. These products offer convection-like warmth, so that the Comfort Furnace warms your home and your body in a very similar way to how the sun warms the planet and its human inhabitants.

In the second post in the series about the features and benefits of the Comfort Furnace Infrared Heater, we’ll jump right into the nitty-gritty. The first feature we’ll highlight might make for a short-but-oh-so-sweet post, but the feature itself is anything but unimportant when it comes to portable, quartz heaters. What we’re getting at is the Comfort Furnace’s extremely accurate thermostat with digital display.
All Comfort Furnace models are shipped with an exceptionally precise thermostat. The main cause for this model’s thermostat accuracy is that it’s actually controlled by a microprocessor. Now that’s high-tech stuff! But exactly how accurate is the thermostat? We’re talking within one degree of the actual mean temperature of the room it’s located in. A single degree!
Other so-called infrared heaters in the marketplace don’t even come equipped with a thermostat. How in the world can that be? The units I’m talking about (which shall remain nameless) are equipped with…an off/on switch. As you can just imagine, they cost less than the Comfort Furnace. That’s right when the expression “you get what you pay for” comes in handy. This post is the first of a series of articles that will highlight the features (not to mention the benefits) you’ll enjoy with Comfort Furnace Infrared Heater technology . In this post, we’ll sketch the key technological attributes of this portable, quartz heater, which we’ll plunge into in more detail in coming posts.
One thing you will realize immediately about the Comfort Furnace is that it comes complete with advanced technology that you can not only just see — but more importantly — that you can hear with your ears and feel with your body. You’ll hear the difference between this unit and an ordinary space heater, because this product operates at virtual silence. And the infrared heat it emits is so much more effective (from an energy usage point of view) as well as in the way it goes about warming your home, garage, office or spaces. But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, let’s keep to the task at hand; the technology features packed into this magnificent machine.

Why is it so accurate? It’s so accurate because it’s controlled by a microprocessor. It’s paired with a digital temperature display that’s easy to read — even from across the room.
Second of all, it’s a quartz infrared heating system that utilizes four quartz heating elements. We will go further into those details in a later article.
