Posted: July 30th, 2011 | Author: Mirage Infrared HeatersFact 1: The United States economy is no long floundering – it’s again in decline.
Fact 2: The price of heating oil is going in the opposite direction, with prices and commodities futures skyrocketing in the past 12 months.
The combination of these two circumstances means that fact number three is an unfortunate one indeed…
Fact 3: Winter is just around the corner.
The financial burden of heating your home is certainly something we who live in cold weather climates don’t look forward to. Each winter, we must sacrifice something in order to pay higher and higher heating costs…. But do we have to make those sacrifices?
The chart below from Yahoo Finance illustrates the rising cost of heating oil. It tracks the United States Heating Oil Fund (USH), showing its steady incline over the past 12 months.
According to USH’s stategy guidance: “The investment seeks to track, in percentage terms the movements of heating oil prices. The funds consists of listed heating oil futures contracts, and other heating oil related futures, forwards, and swap contracts. These investments will be collateralized by cash, cash equivalents and US government obligations with remaining maturities of two years or less.”
Consider what you paid last winter in energy costs to heat your home. Now imagine if you could cut those costs by 30% to 50%. Sound fantastical? Actually, our infrared heaters customers cut their heating bills by as much as half!

And with the estimated lifespan of 20 years that our infrared heaters boast, you’re return on the investment could be “off the charts!”
