Five out of five stars! What you see is what you get and what you get from this website is good! Way to go!

We use this heater to warm the whole upstairs floor of the house (where it gets a FREEZING in the winter and especially over the garage). We used space heaters in the past, but decided that you get what you pay for! It SO true. We're past our 30 day trial period now and have absolutely no reason to want to return it. Thanks guys!

I didn't purchase my Comfort Furnace 1500 from this website, but from a sale they had in Upper Michigan. The very next week I saw an Eden Pure heater with my own eyes, and lets just say I'm thankful the Mirage salesman who talked me into this model instead. Many thanks and your time was much appreciated. -Henry

I ordered this heater and was suprised when it showed up only two days later. But, it didn't work straight out of the d*$% box! One more 'but', I called them and they replaced it immediately! I know stuff like that is just going to happen so it's good to know they stand by their promises and products. By the way, no problem with the replacement. I love it actually. :)

Couldn't agree more with Caroline: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Sorry for the screaming...but it's so true. I've learned it the hard (and cold) way. Worth every penny and more...

Shipped fast, arrived unharmed and doesn't look the least bit cheap like some plastic electronics do. I'd highly recommend this business and this heater.

I bought another brand off a television commercial a few weeks back and returned it after only 2 days. I bought the black Comfort Furnace the next weekend and saw a huge difference right away. You can feel the difference too and very quickly. Its the best and keep up the good work.

This is an outstanding infrared heater. I've nothing bad to say but I'm full of praise. I'm happy I made the decision to buy it.

i like to have fresh air in my house even in the winter. i crack the windows in my living room and the my comfort furnace keeps it warm. when i go to sleep, i crack the window in my bedroom and i stay warm all night long. i live in north dakota so i think this is a great heater!

It turns out I'm going to pay exactly half to heat my business this winter and here's why. I rent a space that's about 2,000 sq. ft. and one of my heating units went out as soon as I turned it on in October. I fired up a Comfort Furnace I bought for home on the side of the space that lost heat. With the way it's working out I don't plan on fixing the broken central heating unit at all as the Comfort Furnace is doing the job just fine. Amazing product and worth every red cent. Now I'm back to replace the heater I stole from home!

It looks like I'm all done with my Comfort Furnace for this winter. I'm taking a guess hear, but from October to March, I probably saved enough on my bills to pay for two of these things. Great product!

SUPER HEATER! My father has had a couple of other kinds in his basement but this one is way better. The picture isn't right through. It looks kind of bluish but it's black in real life. I heat my upstairs at night with it and downstairs during the day. It works perfectly and I haven't had any problems. Just what I expected is just what I got. I'd recommend both this seller and this infrared heater.

Not a review, but a question. Would it be ok to use the comfort furnace UV in our motorhome?
Mirage Customer Servicewrote on 10/05/2011 @ 02:27:15 pm
Dianna: We appreciate your interest! The Comfort Furnace UV needs a 115 Volt AC - 1500 Watt electrical source. If your motor home meets that requirement, the UV would be perfect for you. In fact, many of our past customers have purchased a Comfort Furnace for either a motor home or a trailer. The only other consideration would be that the UV has wheels under it for easy portability, but you can always remove those so that the heater sits stationary on the cabinet when you are on the move. Thanks again for the question!

I'm looking for the best heater on the market, I've compared most units, was going to order the edenpure but I've changed my mind. I don't like the internal look of it! Do you do any infomericals for the Comfort Furnace? If not you should because I found you by chance.
Mirage Customer Servicewrote on 10/05/2011 @ 03:54:53 pm
Dianna: Thank you so much for the kind words, especially because we do pride ourselves in offering the best infrared heaters on the market. The problem with infomercials and hiring celebrities to endorse our products is that it costs a lot of money - an expense EdenPure and other infomercial brands pass on to the customer. So in the end, the customer ends up with an inferior product that costs more than it's really worth. What we've decided to do is offer the highest quality heaters made of the best materials and offer them at the lowest price possible. What we've found is that our customers tell their friends and family about their experience, who then become customers themselves, and word continues to spread. That way, our customers come out ahead and we feel great about the value we've passed on to you. Again, please accept our sincere gratitude for your comments.

Bought your heater yesterday from a local Tractor Supply store and have it working. The first thing we have noticed is that the home furnace doesn't run constantly (we have all electric heat and it may be cleaner than propane or gas, but it sure isn't warm heat).
We are looking forward to electric bills that are less than last year--We will keep you posted--Our weather here in Kentucky can get pretty cold and we are anxious to see how it helps with the warmth and electric bills.

I acquired this Comfort Furnace heater in early September. My wife and I reviewed our energy bills and usage this morning and performed some calculations. We estimate that we have saved 43.89% off of our heating expenses. To be honest this is a far greater savings than I originally expected. It was such a surprise in fact that I thought it best to share our results. Thank you for providing so much value for my family. Timothy and Kathleen C.

I just purchased an Edenpure iR Heater (11/1/11, and it's similiar in outside appearance as your Comfort Furnance UV Model, and for a heater with a 1000 sq . ft. range, I'm disappointed with it since after a hour running in our living room approx 14' x 24', (336 sq. feet.) the room is so- so, not much different than if my furnance was running, so now I'm waiting for the return slip to send it back.
Today I stumbled onto your web site and others and found your one of 3 companies whose IR heaters are rated as made by companies that will be around for service and parts if needed , and not closed down as some already have.Your internal parts and assembly sure make the Edenpure look cheap, and down right scary as there price reflects Bob Villa's pay for his promotions and everything being equal, your heaters appear to be better made, as safe, and reliable as Edenpures although I didnt see any recommendations from any Fire Department spokesman in your web video's was one thing missing.
My question is what are the big differences between your Comfort Furnance-UV model and the comfort Furnance and the Heat-A-Lot models? Also what are the cabinets of your heaters both the Comfort Furnance-UV, and the Heat-a-Lot models made of, wood or metal? Why do the Comfort Furnances in Oak weigh 31 lb's and the same furnance in Black only weighs 25 lb's????
Mirage Customer Servicewrote on 11/25/2011 @ 09:07:54 am
Gerald Williams: Thank you for your interest and for the kind words about our products! The functional differences between the Heat-A-Lot and Comfort Furnace are actually not that many. The biggest difference though can be seen in the Comfort Furnace UV models, which use ultraviolet technology to purify the air. By contrast, the Comfort Furnace XL and Heat-A-Lot sanitize the air. The difference is a technical one, but purification is considered a “better” process of cleaning the air, in general.
The Comfort Furnace UV models also have a full-function remote control with digital read-out and auto-sync technology (new this year). By comparison, the XL and Heat-A-Lot come with a standard or credit-card style remote control, allowing you to control the everyday features of the heater, but not the more obscure features that you'd use only once in a long while.
Also new this year with the Comfort Furnace UV is the use of a low RPM laminar fan. This makes the Comfort Furnace UV ultra quiet, at only 38db of fan noise. The Heat-A-Lot And Comfort Furnace XL uses a scroll-cage fan system. It's still quiet, but comes in just slightly higher at 42db of fan noise.
Another difference is the control interface on the heaters, via the buttons on the front. The Comfort Furnace UVs 6 buttons allows you to make settings faster on the unit itself. The Comfort Furnace XL has 5 buttons and the Heat-A-Lot 4 buttons. The more buttons, the less menu options you'll need to navigate to make settings.
Outside of the cabinet materials and designs, most other differences are minor and don't impact the actual heating performance of the units in any way. The oak and walnut models have cabinets made of wood, which is the reason they are 6 pounds heavier than the black models, which have cabinets made of plastic.
Thanks again for your consideration!
